Dr. Santino, M.D., is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry) doctor. He will help you decide which pain management technique will work best to treat your condition and work with you to determine the healing route you wish to take. Complementary Medicine

Complementary medicine is often used in conjunction with conventional medical techniques. It is a fusion of science and nature. It combines the science of acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, aromatherapy and nutrition along with traditional western pain management and is used in addition to conventional medicine, not as a replacement. Complementary and Alternative Medicine is often referred to as CAM. Oftentimes, complementary treatment methods are less invasive than conventional medical practices.
